Welcome to my notes!
Hi, I'm Om. This is my little corner of the internet, my garden of thoughts and notes.
Whether you found your way here through a tech rabbit hole or you're a friend just curious what I've been up to you're welcome here. Pull up a chair, take your shoes off. Read whatever catches your eye. And tell me how you like it!
[+] about
I am Om, a Product Engineer working at VideoDB, a cool AI Tech Startup based off of San Francisco.
I was going to start writing my own personal blog posts again seriously, as over the period of working for like 1.5 years in cutting edge AI tech, building AI Agents, scalable systems, working across, Frontend, Backend, Infrastructure, CI/CD, and also getting in design decisions and discussions, as that's what good Jack of All trades and master of all aswell Product Engineers do.
I love sharing my knowledge. I can go on and on about what I learnt etc. I even got into a habit to talk to myself to explain the things which I learnt. ( I just heard that reiterating your knowledge strengthens understanding and memory based on neuroscience so started doing it for that. )
But when I tried to start my own blog, to share this knowledge, I fell into an issue. I was trying to make my blogs too perfect. because I was optimising for the people who will read it at platforms like hashnode.com or medium.com. I realised, the speed of my work was slow, and velocity even slower.
So here I am ditching this POV altogether. I've decided to ditch these platforms. These are great platforms mind you, but I want my thoughts to flow, and not be stopped by some standard on how to write things. There is non, but by making this my own playground, I get my own true freedom, and joy of building it. I get the joy of writing my thoughts and knowledge out. I get the joy of maintaining this site. I am getting the joy of purely typing my own things without caring about anything.
I am calling these "notes" before "blogs" btw. I will be writing my raw thoughts, notes etc. here and maybe come back and improve them and make them into something I can call "blog posts". Maybe I can post these finished pieces to medium or somewhere. I am definitely onboard with that fact.
But till then this is my garden. And as I am writing this very description of what I think about this infront of you, you have no idea how much joy I am feeling internally to type this away in VSCode.

[+] agents-101 →
The fundamentals of AI agents. It covers what LLMs really are, how they think, and how to build with them. At the end of this series of notes, blogs, articles whatever I write, I hope you will be able to make cool agents of your own.
